The role involves performing analyses of total system vulnerability to hostile threats and providing design guidance for vulnerability reduction practices.

Responsibilities

  • Providing design guidance for low ballistic vulnerability design practices
  • Identifying potential vulnerability reduction practices, features, and systems
  • Assessing the air vehicle for vulnerability to chem/bio contamination and crew protection from a chem/bio event
  • Develop, plan, execute, analyze, and report live fire testing activities

Qualification

Required

  • Be completing or has completed their Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution by August 2026
  • Be majoring in or having majored in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering or Math) degree
  • Be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government security clearance (U.S. citizenship is a pre-requisite) as well as Program Special access within a reasonable period of time, as determined by the company to meet its business needs (U.S. citizenship is a pre-requisite). Final approved U.S. Government security clearance (U.S. citizenship is a pre-requisite) as well as Program Special Access may be required to start
  • Be completing or has completed their Master's degree from an accredited institution or is completing their Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution by August 2026 and 2 years of engineering experience
  • Be majoring in or having majored in list degree majors that are acceptable for position or similar STEM degree
  • Be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government security clearance (U.S. citizenship is a pre-requisite) as well as Program Special access within a reasonable period of time, as determined by the company to meet its business needs (U.S. citizenship is a pre-requisite). Final approved U.S. Government security clearance (U.S. citizenship is a pre-requisite) as well as Program Special Access may be required to start

Preferred

  • Have an overall cumulative GPA of 3.25/4.0 or higher
  • Previous internship/co-op or other work experience, leadership & teamwork capabilities, interpersonal communication skills, and activities (professional/community/extracurricular)
  • Prior experience with computational electromagnetic (CEM) analysis
  • Prior experience with integration and testing of systems
