Royal Caribbean Group is a leader in the vacation industry, known for its innovative fleet and private destinations. They are seeking an Analyst for their Global Security Operations Team to support shipboard and port security programs, manage strategic projects, and enhance data-driven decision-making processes.
Support the security programs onboard RCG ships and in the associated terminal facilities
Identify key metrics and insights to support decision-making and risk mitigation strategies
Analyze information from various sources such as reports, projects, and daily operations platforms
Employ modern data collection and analysis techniques to proactively identify and pursue opportunities for process and team management improvement
Proactively strategize, plan, and drive activities to ensure project completion within the prescribed time frame
Follow up and assist with the development and maintenance of ship security plans, equipment maintenance, Operational Reports, CCTV systems, locking plans, and all other security related items
Maintain continuous communication and interaction with the Security Operations Manager and ship security officers in support of all aspects of planning, tracking, and security status reporting
Develops and documents standards for measuring the efficiency and effectiveness of the various Fleet and Port Security Operations
Assist in the development of shipboard security-related training
Provide in-depth analysis on the data gathered identifying trends and delivering actionable solutions
Support the shipboard scheduling and disposition plans working with HR schedulers to ensure PAR levels are completed and a solid succession structure is in place
Participate in the development of long-range planning and objectives in the area of Security
Create and maintain comprehensive security policies, ensuring ship security plans are updated and kept up to date
May travel occasionally to conduct ship visits

Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university or related equivalent experience required
Excellent and proven communication skills, both verbal and written are necessary with special preference given to experience in multicultural environments with all levels of employees and management
Excellent analytical skills, the ability to work independently and as part of a team, and a passion for staying current on modern technology
Intermediate to advance reporting, data management, and tracking software skills with platforms such as Excel, Smartsheet, Power BI, PowerPoint, Word, and SharePoint is required
Ability to communicate diplomatically with leadership, shipboard, and shore-side employees to resolve problems and negotiate amicable resolutions to challenging issues
Proven organizational and time management skills
Self-driven to continually improve and actively works to bridge gaps in their knowledge to add more value to a particular project or setting
Innovative and process-driven individual who thrives in a start-up atmosphere rather than maintaining an already-built system
