Responsible for Tier 1 Security Posture, Incident Detection and Reporting
Monitors security events to identify anomalies and possible incidents within the network
Performs historical analysis of logs associated with security events
Produces well-written reports outlining incident and potential mitigation
Work with other teams to troubleshoot VPN sessions / issues
Handles phone calls from customer
Applies baseline security configurations to network equipment
Qualification
Required
To be eligible, applicants must be pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Engineering, Information Technology/Computer Information Systems or Cyber/Information Security or related field or have completed their Bachelor's degree within the last 12 months, regardless of age
Preferred
Information Security experience
Security+ Certification or equivalent certification
Understanding of system vulnerabilities and exploitation
Understanding of vulnerability mitigation
Strong investigative drive

Strong written and oral communication skills
Strong listening skills
Must be able to provide on-call support as needed
