The role involves implementing and maintaining cloud native platform capabilities related to site reliability engineering, disaster recovery, and backups for AWS based technology operations.
Assists in maintaining and monitoring backups and backup policies
Creating tools and capabilities related to Disaster Recovery
Assisting with creating the Disaster Recovery Plan
Participate in the evaluation of and administer new tools, technologies and practices related to Disaster Recovery
Deliver Infrastructure as Code for all Disaster Recovery toolsets
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in related field required or equivalent experience
Disaster Recovery Test Execution
Assists in maintaining and monitoring backups and backup policies
Creating tools and capabilities related to Disaster Recovery
Assisting with creating the Disaster Recovery Plan
Participate in the evaluation of and administer new tools, technologies and practices related to Disaster Recovery
Deliver Infrastructure as Code for all Disaster Recovery toolsets
Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint and Word
Demonstrates key competencies to include Action oriented, Nimble learning and Ensures Accountability
Preferred
Hands-on experience with one or more of the following technologies preferred: One or more scripting languages (Python, Bash, Ruby, PowerShell or Groovy)
Cloud automation templating (CloudFormation or Terraform)
DevOps tool technologies such as Jenkins, Git and Nexus
Backup & Storage technologies such as AWS Backup Vault, S3
Infrastructure as Code tools and technologies such as AWS CDK, Ansible, Salt, Puppet
