Booz Allen Hamilton is a consulting firm that specializes in analytics, technology, and engineering. They are seeking a Junior Cyber Automation Engineer to design and maintain automated systems for cyber activities, while applying cybersecurity principles and working under supervision.
Design, implement, integrate, and maintain systems and tools to automate complex cyber activities.
Apply basic principles, theories, and concepts, including limited industry knowledge.
Solve routine problems of limited scope and complexity, and refer more complex issues to higher levels.
Work under direct supervision.
Qualification
Required
Experience with cybersecurity analysis tools and techniques
Experience with embedded programming languages, including C and C++, and scripting languages, including Python
Knowledge of cybersecurity principles, including secure coding standards, software development best practices, common threats, and attack patterns
Ability to research and provide recommendations on cybersecurity best practices
Ability to obtain a Secret clearance
Scheduled to obtain a Bachelor's degree by Spring or Summer 2025
Preferred
Knowledge of embedded systems concepts
Ability to leverage expertise in technical writing and presentations
Ability to review software source code against secure coding standards
Ability to analyze documentation, including design documents, architecture diagrams, and interface control documents (ICD), for potential security vulnerabilities
Secret clearance
DoD 8570 IAT Level II Certification such as Security+ CE Certification
