U.S. Bank is on a journey to help customers and businesses make better financial decisions. They are seeking a Cyber Defense Engineer to manage security-related tools and processes, implement technology solutions, and ensure compliance with regulations.
Perform the daily operation and execution of security-related tools, processes and controls related to cyber defense initiatives.
Implement and support solutions and technologies, including network proxies, intrusions, detection/prevention systems, remote access, second factor authentication, security event monitoring, infrastructure and system hardening, patch deployment, and vulnerability management.
Coordinate and drive remediation of identified risks and control deficiencies.
Optimize security processes and recommend opportunities and solutions for improvement and automation.
Serve as technical and functional subject matter expert across multiple security domain areas, raising awareness and communicating security risks within the company.
Support and participate in incident response and technical investigations as needed.
Ensure adherence to compliance regulations and policies.
Qualification
Required
Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
2 years of experience as a Computer Systems Engineer/Architect, or a related occupation
1 year of experience with RDBMS development
1 year of experience in an AGILE environment
1 year of experience with Hadoop, Oracle, SQL, PL/SQL, Sqoop, Hive, PySpark, Impala, AutoSys Scheduling, Tableau and MSTR
