BAE Systems is an aerospace, defence, and information security company that provides advanced and technology-led solutions. They are seeking a SecOps-inspired full stack developer to tackle complex cyber defense challenges through custom application development and collaboration with various teams.
Solve complex cyber defense challenges by creating custom applications integrating with other state-of-the-art defense systems.
Develop solutions for other teams on the GSOC including Operations, Threat Intelligence, Malware Analysis, Endpoint Threat Detection, and Insider Threat.
Qualification
Required
Must have a Bachelor's Degree and 2-4 years work experience or equivalent experience
Software Development, Computer Security, or Computer Science Degree
Certifications related to development or security such as CIW certificates, Project+, OSCP, etc…
Must have knowledge with cyber security and/or penetration testing
Experience in leading development projects, agile sprints, etc…
Full stack development experience
Linux and containerization experience
Ability to quickly learn new technologies and programming languages
Strong background in software development
Diverse experience in system management, database design, backend development, and frontend development
Ability to deploy and manage applications on Linux-based servers and containers
Ability to document code and solutions
Eligibility to obtain/maintain a security clearance
Ability to communicate and work effectively with other developers and security analysts
