The Cyber Engineer I will design, develop, integrate, and verify embedded encryption algorithms while collaborating with hardware, FPGA, and software teams. The role also involves product security testing and developing expertise in cybersecurity and secure systems.
You will be a part of a team that is developing new and innovative products for customers
You will face and conquer challenges of the interesting and hard world of crypto algorithms
You will develop your skills with software application tools, as well as C ++, Rust, and Python
You will impact the team positively by demonstrating your ability to perform product security testing, becoming a cybersecurity subject matter expert
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM)
Comfortable working with C, C++, Rust, Python and/or Linux
The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required
U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance
Preferred
Some experience coding in an embedded environment
Security focused mindset
Familiar with multi-threaded and object-oriented development
Familiar with the basics of asymmetric and symmetric encryption
