Lockheed Martin is a leading aerospace and defense company, and they are seeking an Early Career Cyber Security Engineer. In this role, you will evaluate systems, conduct cybersecurity testing, and communicate assessment results while working on-site in Littleton, CO or Sunnyvale, CA.
Evaluate systems and designs to determine cybersecurity characteristics.
Conduct system configuration hardening (e.g. DISA STIGs)
Identify and conduct cybersecurity testing and risk analysis at the system and component level.
Communicate assessment results.
Qualification
Required
Completed a bachelor’s degree program from an accredited college in Cybersecurity or a related discipline.
Must be a US Citizen; this position will require a government security clearance.
General understanding of system and component functionality.
Familiar with cybersecurity requirements.
Experience in testing environment.
Preferred
Windows or Linux (e.g. Red Hat, Ubuntu)
Scripting (e.g. Python, shell/bash, PowerShell)
Risk Management
DoD 8140.01/8570.01-M IAT I or IAT II certification (e.g. Security +)
