Texas Capital Bank is dedicated to helping businesses and their leaders succeed through their financial expertise. The Cyber SOC Analyst will monitor security alerts, respond to incidents, and conduct investigations to ensure the organization's cybersecurity posture is robust and effective.
Monitor security alerts and respond to incidents in real-time to minimize potential threats
Conduct thorough investigations of security breaches and provide detailed reports on findings
Coordinate with cross-functional teams to implement effective incident response strategies
Develop and maintain incident response procedures, ensuring they are up to date with emerging threats
Perform root cause analysis of incidents and recommend improvements to prevent future occurrences
Maintain awareness of the latest cybersecurity trends and threat intelligence to enhance response capabilities
Provide expert guidance on security best practices and incident prevention techniques
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in information security, Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering or related field.
Minimum 2 year of experience in cyber or related domain.
Understanding of the external threat landscape and adversary tactics & techniques
Ability to obtain, analyze and synthesize information from multiple sources
Ability to deliver swift response and action-oriented skills
Analytical mindset, focused on results with critical thinking, research and problem-solving, and decision-making skills
Ability to implement and communicate actionable insights to streamline processes/transactions
Highly self-motivated with a strong sense of initiative
Preferred
Desire knowledge of incident management techniques throughout the incident lifecycle: assessment, containment, restoration, documentation, evidence preservation, and forensics
Desire knowledge of malware detection and analysis
Desire knowledge of information security best practices and technology risk management disciplines and technologies
Desire knowledge of relevant regulatory requirements and laws
Desire knowledge and understanding of diverse platforms and operating systems, including current and emerging technologies
