They are seeking a Cyber Systems Engineer to support the Sentinel program, focusing on designing and maintaining network systems and ensuring security best practices are implemented.

Support the Sentinel program.
Design and maintain LAN, WAN, and Cloud based networks.
Manage routing protocols over Enterprise level environments.
Configure, install, and maintain network hardware from Cisco and Palo Alto.
Configure, install, and maintain encryption devices (TACLANES) as well as operating General Dynamic’s GEM One and/or GEM X Enterprise Encryptor Management server.
Implement security best practices to include management of Cisco Identity Services Engine (ICE) and Cisco Terminal Access Controller Access-Control System Plus (TACACS+).
Operate and maintain Cisco Unified Call Manager (CUCM).
Demonstrate experience in the use of network analysis tools (i.e. WireShark, Opnet, SolarWinds, etc.).
Qualification
Required
Bachelor’s degree and 2 years of experience, or master's degree and 0 years of experience.
Active DoD Secret level security clearance and the ability to maintain the required clearance as a condition of continued employment; the selected candidate will be required to obtain a Top Secret DoD security clearance based on customer and/or program requirements.
The ability to obtain Special Access Programs (SAP) within a period of time as determined by program and/or customer requirements, as a condition of continued employment.
Current CompTIA Security Plus (or higher) certification.
Current Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) (or higher) certification.
Experience designing and maintaining LAN, WAN, and Cloud based networks.
Experience with managing routing protocols over Enterprise level environments.
Experience with configuring, installing, and maintaining network hardware from Cisco and Palo Alto.
Experience configuring, installing, and maintaining encryption devices (TACLANES) as well as operating General Dynamic’s GEM One and/or GEM X Enterprise Encryptor Management server.
Experience with implementing security best practices to include management of Cisco Identity Services Engine (ICE) and Cisco Terminal Access Controller Access-Control System Plus (TACACS+).

Preferred
Bachelor’s or master’s degree in IS related field with 6 or more years of experience.
Active DoD Top Secret level security clearance and the ability to maintain the required clearance as a condition of continued employment.
The ability to obtain Special Access Programs (SAP) within a period of time as determined by program and/or customer requirements, as a condition of continued employment.
Previous experience troubleshooting network procedures and best practices; experience with network challenges associated with systems integration, including COTS integration, capacity analysis, and system architecture design.
Current CompTIA Advanced Security Practitioner (CASP+) or Cisco Certified Network Professional Security or equivalent security certification.
Current Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) certification.
Skilled with troubleshooting network procedures and best practices; experience with network challenges associated with systems integration, including COTS integration, capacity analysis and system architecture design.
