The Cyber System Security Engineer Associate will define system functionality, design anti-tamper and cybersecurity features, support model-based systems engineering, and coordinate with stakeholders to address technical and programmatic risks.

Responsibilities

  • Define system states, modes, and anti-tamper/cyber-security design features for critical subsystems
  • Develop model-based systems-engineering diagrams and timing assessments to characterize system behavior for target use cases
  • Participate in requirements development, trade studies, implementation, and documentation of anti-tamper solutions
  • Assist in creating and maintaining Program Protection Implementation Plans and related artifacts
  • Coordinate with program leadership, subcontractors, customers, and government review teams to address technical and programmatic risks

Qualification

Required

  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Systems Engineering, or a related major
  • Must have Interim SECRET Clearance to start
  • Experience with cybersecurity toolsets. This may include work with penetration testing, Nessus, Nmap, Wireshark, Metasploit, or similar skillsets
  • Familiarity or interest in the fields of cybersecurity. This may include system design and/or vulnerability assessment
  • Active clearance required, within scope if possible

Preferred

  • Experience with software assurance: Coverity and Fortify highly preferred
  • Experience with operating systems: Kali Linux (preferred), Windows, etc
  • Experience implementing cybersecurity requirements
  • Experience with hardening operating systems
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Experience delivering written / oral presentations to program personnel and customers
  • Ability to think critically to find optimal approaches to difficult design issues
