The role involves managing software and information system certifications, incident response coordination, and cybersecurity training.
Will serve as Information System Security Officer (ISSO) and operate as a part of a team
Daily tasks will include managing software and information system certifications and approvals, incident response coordination, workforce cybersecurity training, and maintenance and content updates of cybersecurity websites
Qualification
Required
Active TS/SCI security clearance
Active CompTIA Security+ or SecurityX (formerly CASP+) certification
One of the following: High school diploma or equivalent with a minimum of 6 years related experience; Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 2 years related experience; Master's degree with a minimum of 0 years related experience
Knowledge in securing operating systems (e.g., Windows, Linux), databases (e.g., SQL, Oracle), and network devices (routers, switches)
Understanding of network protocols, TCP/IP, routing, and switching
Understanding of security technologies, such as IDS/IPS, SIEM, vulnerability scanners, antivirus solutions, etc
Preferred
Familiarity with DoD systems and compliance requirements
Experience with Security Tools such as Nessus, McAfee, Ivanti HEAT, Tanium, Solarwinds, Splunk
