Booz Allen Hamilton is a leading consulting firm specializing in technology and security solutions. They are seeking a Cybersecurity Engineer to develop innovative solutions for complex cyber risk problems, manage system evaluations, and implement secure practices in cloud environments.
Identify and implement ways to harden systems and reduce their attack surface
Develop innovative solutions to complex cyber risk problems
Manage evaluation and accreditation of client systems
Apply technical solutions working in cloud environments
Work with various teams to identify the right mix of tools and techniques to translate client needs and goals into a secure and effective plan
Investigate new techniques and customize solutions to maintain a balance of security and mission needs
Integrate secure practices like endpoint-based detection, response EDR, multi-factor authentication, identity and access management, and advanced analytics
Qualification
Required
Experience securing Cloud infrastructure and applications in AWS GovCloud
Experience with ACAS vulnerability scans, Nessus Manager, and vulnerability mitigation and patching
Experience with C5ISR, HBSS, EPO, McAfee, or Trellix
Experience with Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs) and applying them
Experience with DoD Risk Management Framework and DoD Cloud Computing SRG requirements
Experience decomposing high-level operational requirements into functional definitions, verification objectives, and full system specifications, and identifying enabling and critical technologies, constraints, and risks
Knowledge of ATOs, IATTs, and ATCs
Secret clearance
Associate's degree and 2 + years of experience in cybersecurity or 4+ years of experience in cybersecurity in lieu of degree
DoD 8570 IAT Level II Certification
Preferred
Experience analyzing network configurations and network architecture diagrams
Experience with automation or scripting
Knowledge of Azure, Google, or Oracle Cloud
Knowledge of network security and incident response procedures
Knowledge of Ubuntu, RHEL, and Windows Server
Knowledge of artificial intelligence
Bachelor's degree
