Lockheed Martin is a leader in aerospace and defense, seeking a Cybersecurity Engineer to support their C2BMC program. The role involves working with experienced engineers to ensure cybersecurity compliance and assist with cyber product analysis and vulnerability assessments.
Communicate and work closely with C2BMC Operational ISSOs in support of the Operational eMASS packages managed by the Assessment and Authorization (A&A) team.
Work closely with system owners, cyber peers, and other C2BMC functional areas to ensure the C2BMC developed systems attain and maintain appropriate STIG baselines prior to operational testing and release.
Assist with cyber product analysis, vulnerability assessment, and POA&M management to proactively maintain the STIG baseline.
Rotate and blend technical documentation, surge support for authorization packages in eMASS, assessing vulnerabilities in development work, and tracking engineering responses for system POA&Ms.
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Assurance, Computer Science, Information Security, Cyber Operations, Cybersecurity Engineering
Must be a US Citizen; this position will require a government security clearance. This position is located at a facility that requires special access.
College-level knowledge of cyber capabilities such as patch management, Configuration Compliance management (i.e. STIGs, SRGs Vendor Guidance), multi-factor authentication, host-based security, intrusion detection, security event management active/passive system scanning, and defense-in-depth.
Ability to obtain DoD 8570 IAT II certification (Security+ or others)
Preferred
Recent familiarity with A&A packages for Risk Management Framework (RMF) Authority to Operate (ATOs) is desired.
Application experience hardening Windows and Linux servers and workstations in accordance with GPOs, LAVMs, and STIGs is desired.
Network design and software engineering backgrounds are a plus.
Active DoD Secret Security Clearance
Active DoD 8570 IAT II certification (Security+ or others)
Knowledge of NIST standards, DoDI 8500.1, and RMF Security Controls are desired.
The successful candidate should also have a basic understanding of the Agile Development Lifecycle.
Effective interpersonal skills are required with an ability to support complex organizational relationships.
Technical document preparation and verbal communication skills are required for presentation of technical cyber issues and reports to internal stakeholders.
