Leidos delivers simulation, training, and analysis solutions that support U.S. Navy warfighter readiness. The Cybersecurity Engineer Co-op will develop defensive cybersecurity solutions for trainer systems and development environments, assess and upgrade Linux servers and workstations, and gain hands-on experience supporting military training systems.
You will be participating in the development of large scale computer based training systems and you MUST be able to learn and apply advanced cybersecurity engineering skills and techniques
You MUST be able to work in a fast paced, team oriented enviroment
You MUST be available to work at least 7 months full time as a co-op

You MUST be Pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Cybersecurity, or a related technical degree, have at least a 3.2 GPA, and be able to demonstrate solid Linux system and defensive cybersecurity skills
You MUST have U.S. Citizenship and be eligible to obtain a U.S. Government granted security clearance
Employment is contingent on receiving an interim Secret security clearance
No past experience is required, however you will be working in a professional environment and contributing to systems that will be used throughout the U.S. Navy
Therefore, you must be dedicated to producing quality work results, and must be extremely attentive to detail
