CACI International Inc is focused on supporting the Department of Defense and U.S. Army through advanced cybersecurity solutions. The Junior Cybersecurity Specialist will monitor networks, detect threats, and ensure compliance with military cybersecurity frameworks.
Analyze alerts to identify potential security incidents
Respond to low level cybersecurity events
Perform vulnerability scans using approved DoD/Army tools
Support patch management and secure baseline updates
Audit system access logs for compliance
Maintain RMF documentation and support accreditation activities
Report compliance posture to senior cybersecurity staff
Qualification
Required
U.S. Citizenship (DoD requirement)
Active Secret or eligibility for sponsorship
Associate or Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related fields
1–3 years in IT or cybersecurity
DoD 8570/8140 IAT Level II (Security+ CE, CySA+, etc.)
Preferred
Tools such as ACAS, HBSS, SPLUNK
53‑Knowledge of NIST SP 800
Experience administering Windows and Linux systems
