Motorola Solutions provides mission-critical technologies and services that help keep people and communities safer. The Information Security Analyst will monitor and respond to security incidents, assess vulnerabilities, manage access controls, enforce security policies and compliance, and address customer security concerns.
Threat Monitoring & Incident Response: Continuously monitor networks and systems for security breaches or anomalies using SIEM (Security Information and Event Management) tools. Investigate, contain, and remediate security incidents when they occur
Vulnerability Assessment & Penetration Testing: Run periodic security scans, perform vulnerability assessments, and coordinate penetration testing to identify and patch system weaknesses
Access Control & Identity Management: Oversee access permissions, multi-factor authentication (MFA), and identity and access management (IAM) policies to ensure least-privilege access
Policy & Compliance Enforcement: Help establish security standards and operational procedures. Ensure systems adhere to industry compliance frameworks (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001, SOC 2, GDPR). Participate in annual compliance activities
Customer Security Assessments: Coordinating with Sales, Customer Service Managers, Product Managers, and ISSM's in addressing customer security concerns

* Bachelor's degree
* Must be able to obtain background clearance as required by government customer
* Legal authorization to work in the U.S. indefinitely is required. Employer work permit sponsorship is not available for this position

* Strong working knowledge of common security control frameworks and certifications (NIST 800-53, ISO 27001, SOC 2 Type 2)
