Leidos is seeking an Information Security System Administrator to support the Social Security Administration's Access Management functions. The role involves maintaining the confidentiality and integrity of SSA data resources while implementing access control principles and providing technical support for security-related issues.

Responsibilities

  • Approve / Authorize / Process / implement SAM requests at various levels. Including not limited to: Modify Access, ADAM, Transfer, Renewal, Name Change, Initial access, Move, TSOID, Initial (ESEF), TSO ID (ESEF), Secondary User ID, Integration access, ART.
  • Security mailbox administration, processing all security requests via electronic mailbox.
  • Top Secret profiles (assignment/removal) on both production and ESEF environments.
  • Create and process profile (i.e. TSTRAC) requests.
  • Analyze and review audit reports, logs, and other security reports and recommend solutions.
  • Assist users requiring access to protected resources by troubleshooting various security related issues.
  • Develop information security standards, guidelines and procedures.
  • Provide CA Top Secret maintenance and infrastructure support for both production and ESEF environments.
  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting by telephone or via email as part of the help desk services team.
  • Provide guidance on audit initiatives initiated by higher monitoring authorities.
  • Provide technical support to users or security staff with TOP SECRET and access issues electronic mailbox and case management tool.
  • Troubleshooting support for Production/ESEF components.
  • Provide support for WebSphere certificate creation and renewal on eSEF and Production environments.
  • Participate in orientation and project meetings.

Qualification

Required

  • Bachelor’s Degree and 2-4 years of relevant experience, or master’s degree and less than 2 years of relevant experience, or additional years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience and knowledge to document work processes and products.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience and knowledge in Mainframe.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience and knowledge of prioritizing many different projects and tasks based on the organization’s needs, and guidance from management.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience and knowledge of MS Office Suite.
  • Minimum of 1 year experience in Computer Associate (CA); Top Secret access control database.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in strong organizational and analytical skills with attention to detail.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a US Public Trust clearance.
  • Prior experience supporting the Social Security Administration or similar government agencies.
  • Basic knowledge of network and security applications and devices, and overall understanding of cybersecurity programs.
  • Basic understanding of network security tools.
  • Experience in designing, developing and producing network solutions.
  • Basic knowledge in mainframe technology languages.
  • Basic knowledge of programming.
  • Security+ Certification.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust. Contract requirement.
  • Experience with various National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) Publications, including NIST SP 800-37 Rev.2, NIST SP 800-137/137A, NIST SP 800-53 Rev.4 and NIST SP 800-53A.
  • Ability to assess requests, gather artifacts and communicate with customers, subject matter experts and various stakeholders.
  • Knowledge or experience documenting Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s).
  • Experience and Knowledge with various Federal laws, Directives and Standards governing information systems and cybersecurity.
  • Knowledge and experience with Microsoft Office products, including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and SharePoint.
  • Excellent communication and written skills.
