MANTECH is hiring a Junior Information Systems Security Engineer to support the U.S. Air Force’s 53rd Wing Technical Support Services contract. The role focuses on secure system and network design, security authorization and continuous monitoring, risk management, and maintaining security documentation.
Perform system or network designs that encompass multiple Cloud hosting environments, to include those with differing data protection/classification requirements. Validate and verify security requirements, establish security designs, and develop security architectures
Support ATO accreditation with analyzing security scans, organizational policies, and perform continuous monitoring
Provide security planning, assessment, risk analysis, and risk management. Perform/support or review security assessments to identify IA vulnerabilities or non-compliances and recommend mitigations
Recommend cybersecurity-enabled products to implement security measures that provide confidentiality, integrity, availability, authentication and non-repudiation
Work on project teams responsible for engineering and packaging releases to integrate within the customer's production IT environment
Review, provide feedback, and help update/maintain SSP documentation
Support security authorization activities in compliance with Government standards and the RMF
Qualification
Required
At least 1 year of direct/related experience in information security
Bachelor's degree in related discipline from an accredited college or university. 2 additional years of experience may be substituted for a degree
Active / valid DoD 8570.01-M IAT-II certification
Current Top-Secret Clearance with SCI Eligibility
Eligibility for access to Special Access Program Information
Willingness to submit to a Counterintelligence polygraph
