Responsibilities

Responsible for writing and providing technical documentation for solutions
Ability to administer firewalls, virtual private networks (VPNs), and other security tools (Hand on experience with Palo Alto NG Firewalls and Checkpoint GAIA)
Ability to perform upgrades on Palo Alto Firewalls and experience with Palo Alto Expedition for firewall migrations
Provide steady state support for business divisions using Service Now platform for ticketing system
Review Security Risk Variances
Review and Process Firewall Access Requests
Ensure proper renewals of TLS Certificates in the environment
Rapid Response for declared Security Incidents
Engage with the business for P1 and P2 Incidents
Display a working knowledge of advanced networking trouble-shooting skills
Ability to clearly articulate Network Security scheduled changes to Change Management Board
Peer review proposed changes as a part of the Network Security Engineering team
Display strong communication skills with internal and external customers
Participate in On Call Rotation with Network Security Engineering team for 24x7 Support
Perform tasks on project related work within Azure DevOps
Be accountable for deliverables on projects with timelines
Performs other duties as assigned

Qualification

Required

Bachelor's degree required in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field and/or equivalent work experience
One (1) year or more experience working directly in Information Security, Identity & Access Management, especially in an engineering role
Solid coding and scripting required. Java, C, C++, Python, Powershell intermediate required
Security technologies including encryption, data protection, access privileges intermediate required
Practical experience with database security, content filtering, vulnerability scanning, and anti-malware intermediate required
Knowledge of IAM strategy, best practices and design intermediate required
Information Risk or Security Certification (CISSP, CCSP)

Preferred

Vocational or Technical Certification preferred Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)
One (1) year or more experience working with Okta or SailPoint preferred
One (1) year or more programming or scripting. Python, Java, C/C++ preferred
Knowledge of Microsoft Windows and Linux systems intermediate preferred
Strong knowledge of common vulnerabilities and exploitation techniques beginner preferred
An understanding of organizational mission, values, and goals and consistent application of this knowledge (preferred)
