The New Grad Tech Development Program – Cybersecurity Stream is a permanent, full-time 24-month rotational program for recent graduates, focused on developing cybersecurity expertise through hands-on assignments. The role involves assessing vulnerabilities, monitoring threats, responding to incidents, implementing security strategies, and using AI to improve security insights.

Responsibilities

Assist in the development and implementation of security policies and procedures
Conduct vulnerability assessments to identify and prioritize system threats
Monitor and analyze network traffic for unusual activity and potential threats
Investigate and respond to security incidents
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance security measures
Participate in threat intelligence gathering and analysis
Implement infrastructure security strategies to safeguard environments
Leverage AI technologies to enhance security insights and decision-making processes
Stay current with emerging cybersecurity threats and trends to strengthen defenses

Qualification

Required

Recent or soon-to-be graduate with a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, graduating by May 2027 or within the past year
Strong analytical abilities and problem-solving skills
Adaptability, curiosity, and a commitment to continuous learning
Excellent communication skills with a passion for technology
Self-reliant with a strong sense of responsibility
Understanding of network protocols, firewalls, and security technologies
Familiarity with programming languages such as Python or Java
For candidates located in Quebec, bilingualism is required considering the necessity to interact on a regular basis with English-speaking colleagues across the country
Candidates must be eligible to work in Canada from the anticipated start date and throughout their employment
