They are seeking an Industrial Security Analyst (Level 2 or 3) to develop and administer security programs and procedures for classified materials, ensuring compliance with federal regulations and conducting security audits.

Responsibilities

  • Develops, and administers security programs and procedures for classified or proprietary materials, documents, and equipment.
  • Studies and implements federal security regulations that apply to company operations.
  • Obtains rulings, interpretations, and acceptable deviations for compliance with regulations from government agencies.
  • Prepares manuals outlining regulations, and establishes procedures for handling, storing, and keeping records, and for granting personnel and visitors access to restricted records and materials.
  • Conducts security education classes and security audits.
  • Investigates security violations and prepares reports specifying preventive action to be taken.

Qualification

Required

  • Bachelor’s Degree with 2 years of related experience, or Masters with 0 years of related experience (an additional 4 years may be considered in lieu of degree)
  • Bachelors Degree with 5 years of related experience, or Masters with 3 years of related experience, or 1 year with a PhD (an additional 4 years may be considered in lieu of degree)
  • Must be a US Citizen with an active U.S. Government DoD Secret security clearance at time of application with an investigation completed within the last 6 years.
  • Must have the ability to obtain and maintain Special Access Program (SAP) approval within a reasonable period of time as determined by the company to meet its business need
  • Ability to excel in a fast-paced deadline-driven environment
  • Meticulous record-keeping and responsible for accurate data input into multiple databases/spreadsheets
  • Excellent writing skills, and organizational skills enabling effective communication
  • Organized and efficient at time management
  • Computer and desktop Microsoft office software products experience

Preferred

  • Familiarity with Security Information Management System (SIMs)
  • Experience with SLOPACS and DISS
  • Prior Contractor SAP Security Officer (CSSO) Experience
  • Experience leading small teams
  • Experience with SAP inspections and a record of Satisfactory compliance ratings
