As a Security Analyst, you will implement and improve security programs to ensure compliance with NRC and DOE requirements, while supporting operational readiness and conducting audits and assessments.
Support the implementation and continuous improvement of physical, information, and personnel security programs
Ensure compliance with NRC and DOE requirements while maintaining a strong security posture
Evaluate site and policy changes for regulatory impact
Conduct change analyses to protect system effectiveness
Support intrusion detection systems
Perform audits and self-assessments
Assist with investigations and regulatory inspections
Guide employees and contractors on security protocols
Help deliver security training
Serve as a point of contact for controlled article entry and security issues
Step in as backup leadership when needed—sometimes on rotating shifts, including nights and weekends
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in criminal justice, business administration, security management, physical security, or related field, or equivalent experience
2+ years of security-related experience
Strong working knowledge of safeguards and security principles, including NRC regulations
Experience using Microsoft Office and preparing reports and documentation
The ability to obtain and maintain a 'Q' clearance
Preferred
3+ years of experience working with security systems
Experience in performance assurance or performance testing
Experience delivering security-related training
Background in vulnerability or risk analysis
Professional security certifications such as Physical Security Professional or other recognized physical security certifications
An active 'Q' level security clearance
