Booz Allen Hamilton is a leading firm providing cybersecurity solutions, and they are seeking a SOC Tier 1 Analyst to join their team. In this role, you will be the first line of defense against cyber threats, monitoring and analyzing incidents to protect critical infrastructure and mitigate risks. You will work collaboratively to restore operations and enhance security measures against malicious attacks.
Monitor and analyze threats using state-of-the-art tools and cybersecurity skills.
Identify, remediate, and prevent future cybersecurity events.
Work with the team to understand, mitigate, and respond to threats quickly, restoring operations and limiting the impact.
Analyze incidents to determine the extent of systems affected and assist in recovery efforts.
Combine threat intelligence, event data, and assessments from recent events to identify patterns and understand attackers’ goals.
Qualification
Required
Experience with working on a team
Knowledge of DoD or Government technology environment
TS/SCI clearance
HS diploma or GED and 4+ years of experience in systems administration and management, security operations, or helpdesk, or Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics and 2+ years of experience in systems administration and management, security operations, or helpdesk
Preferred
Knowledge of government compliance
Possession of strong communications skills
DoD 8570 Compliant IAM or IAT level II Certification such as Security+ or CISSP Certification
