Design & develop innovative software solutions that support offensive cyber operations
Collaborate with cross‑functional engineers, analysts, and mission planners to translate user needs into robust code
Debug, test, and refine existing applications, improving performance, reliability, and security
Create and execute software test plans to validate functionality and resilience
Contribute to continuous‑improvement initiatives, proposing enhancements to tools, processes, and development pipelines
Stay ahead of emerging threats by researching new techniques, languages, and frameworks
Proficient in AI prompting as it applies to this position and practice
Designs, develops, operates, and maintains software and firmware components and computing systems software to be applied to and integrated with engineering, scientific, and manufacturing requirements
Applies the appropriate standards, processes, procedures, and tools throughout the system development life cycle to support the generation of such engineering applications and products such as laboratory simulation systems, airplane flight control and display systems, avionics, mechanical and electrical systems, weapons armament, commercial and military aircraft systems, mobile and ground-based defense systems, space systems, and other systems and applications of this nature
Interfaces with customers, suppliers, application users, and other technical and support personnel
Proficient in AI prompting as it applies to this position and practice
Qualification
Required
• Candidate must possess active US security clearance with a polygraph
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, or network engineering from an accredited college. OR 4 years equivalent experience in lieu of a degree
Preferred
• Experience with Computer Science, Information Systems or Network Engineering
• 2 years experience Windows, Linux, or network programming
• Able to install and configure anti-virus and spy-ware
• Able to design, write and execute software test plans
• Certifications in any of the following
MCSE: Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert,
RHCE: Red Hat Certified Engineer,
CEH: Certified Ethical Hacker,
CCNA: Cisco Certified Network Associate
