Mphasis is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Sr Engineer specializing in Cyber Security. The role involves providing operational support for Identity & Access Management, focusing on Microsoft identity platforms and ensuring compliance with security policies.
Monitor identity services, synchronization jobs, s, and operational dashboards
Perform daily health checks and operational monitoring activities
Support identity lifecycle management processes across enterprise environments
Escalate complex issues to L2/L3 support teams
Create, modify, disable, and delete user accounts
Support Joiner, Mover, and Leaver (JML) processes
Manage user attributes and directory updates
Ensure timely onboarding and offboarding of users
Validate requests and approvals before processing changes
Manage security groups, distribution groups, and Microsoft 365 groups
Process access requests and entitlement modifications
Support role assignments and group membership management
Assist with Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) administration
Perform periodic access validation and cleanup activities
Support password resets and account unlock requests
Assist users with authentication-related issues
Support Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) enrollment and troubleshooting
Monitor authentication failures and escalate security concerns when required
Assist with Conditional Access policy-related support requests
Manage IAM incidents and service requests through ITSM platforms
Perform initial troubleshooting and issue diagnosis
Resolve routine identity and access management issues within SLA targets
Document resolutions, workarounds, and recurring operational issues
Participate in operational reviews and shift handovers
Support access review and certification activities
Assist in audit evidence collection and compliance reporting
Ensure adherence to IAM policies and security standards
Report security risks, policy violations, and access anomalies
Maintain operational documentation and audit records
Monitor account provisioning and synchronization activities
Generate operational reports and service metrics
Track:
User provisioning requests
Access requests
Group management activities
SLA compliance
Incident trends
Support management reporting and governance reviews
Qualification
Required
4 plus Years of experience in IAM Operations, Active Directory Administration, IT Support, Service Desk, or Cyber Security Operations
Experience managing user accounts and access requests
Exposure to Microsoft identity technologies
Experience working in SLA-driven operational environments
Understanding of enterprise identity governance processes
Basic knowledge and hands-on exposure to Microsoft Entra ID
Basic knowledge and hands-on exposure to Active Directory
Basic knowledge and hands-on exposure to Microsoft 365 Administration
Basic knowledge and hands-on exposure to Azure AD Connect (Entra Connect)
Basic knowledge and hands-on exposure to Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA)
Basic knowledge and hands-on exposure to Self-Service Password Reset (SSPR)
Basic knowledge and hands-on exposure to Conditional Access fundamentals
