Booz Allen Hamilton is hiring a University Cybersecurity Specialist to support cybersecurity operations that protect systems, data, and mission-critical environments. The role evaluates system security posture, identifies vulnerabilities, assists with remediation, and contributes to security compliance across client environments.

You will help evaluate system security posture, identify vulnerabilities, assist with remediation activities, and contribute to security compliance processes
Your work enables secure system operations across client environments and provides hands‑on exposure to cybersecurity engineering, RMF standards, and enterprise security best practices
Qualification
Required
Experience in cybersecurity, including in an academic environment
Knowledge of networking concepts, including the OSI model
Knowledge of virtualization
Knowledge of Linux and Windows systems
Ability to obtain a Secret clearance
Scheduled to obtain a Bachelor's degree by Summer 2027
Preferred
Ability to produce technical documentation and create design artifacts
Possession of excellent critical thinking and analytical skills
Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills
