The Analyst on the Business & Customer Insights team will build reporting and data products to drive business strategies and collaborate with stakeholders to translate business needs into analytical insights.
Leverage your analytical skills to develop, refine, and innovate data products that are not only relevant today but are also designed with a future-forward lens.
Collaborate with business stakeholders across the Enterprise to translate requests into analytical problem statements. Requests can be strategic or tactical in nature, including but not limited to targeting, segmentation, list generation and automation, development of dashboards, reports, measurement, and data modeling.
Extract and synthesize large amounts of data from multiple sources, including transaction and loyalty customer data, to provide insights that will inform and guide the strategic evolution of various Business initiatives.
Apply statistical techniques to measure performance of business initiatives and build out automated reporting suites to ensure quick and easy access to data.
Generate meaningful insights to solve business problems, identify new opportunities and drive strategy.
Qualification
Required
Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Engineering, Business or other relevant field of study
Fundamental knowledge in statistics and basic mathematical modeling capabilities, combined with a genuine passion for analytics
Intermediate to advanced skills in SQL and/or BigQuery, including data manipulation and understanding of SQL procedures/functions
Excellent organization & ability to stay on top of a multifaceted and fast paced business, while leading multiple assignments at a time
Preferred
Experience building materialized and aggregate data cubes is an asset.
Previous experience developing reporting in BI tools such as MicroStrategy, QLIK Sense, QLIK View, Power BI or Looker Studio
