The Analyst, Data Management is responsible for ensuring the completeness and reliability of investment-related data, collaborating with various teams to enhance data management workflows and support compliance and decision-making processes.
Oversee the execution and maintenance of business and control processes that ensure security master records are properly established, maintained, and delivered to relevant stakeholders in a complete, reliable, and timely manner
Supports the identification and resolution of business process gaps that hinder the Operation’s team from delivering reliable daily security master reference data
Collaborates with other teams to assess and prioritize data needs and deficiencies and communicates with senior management to ensure requirements are addressed and gaps are resolved in a timely and effective manner
Contributes to cross-functional and organization-wide initiatives, such as Aladdin MVP, focused on enhancing the overall quality of security data
Partners with internal teams and external auditors to enhance the design and effectiveness of existing control frameworks, and to recommend and implement additional controls where necessary
Executes additional tasks and responsibilities as required
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree (B.A.) with at least two years of relevant experience
Experience with order management systems (e.g., Aladdin), data vendors (e.g., Bloomberg, Refinitiv), reconciliation tools (e.g., DUCO), and accounting systems (e.g., Clearwater)
Experienced in handling and organizing large volumes of data
Proficient in Microsoft Excel, including Macros, to analyze and manipulate data efficiently
Understands regulatory-driven asset classification and its impact on rating and reporting processes
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, including verbal, written, and presentation abilities, with a proven ability to work effectively with colleagues, clients, and external partners
Detail-oriented and analytical, skilled at reviewing data, solving practical problems, and drawing accurate conclusions
Highly organized and adaptable, able to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and perform under pressure in a fast-paced environment
Technical proficiency, including Microsoft Office, SQL, and the preparation of reports, business correspondence, and procedural documentation
Preferred
Knowledge of private assets, fixed income, and structured products is preferred
