The Destination Strategy Analyst will support the Destination Intelligence team by conducting data-driven analysis, reporting, and forecasting to inform investment decisions and enhance planning capabilities.
Maintain a database of each of the destinations in which RCG operates or may operate, allowing us to recognize opportunities before they are public, understand potential roadblocks, and build our partnership with the destinations
Analyzes consumer research feedback with market trends, both past and present, to develop the improvement strategy of each destination
Design, develop, implement, and maintain a catalog of databases and analytic applications that house all destination-related information
Integrating and analyzing data from multiple sources using SQL
Perform data analyses to address complex business questions
Responsible for creating processes to improve data and communication efficiency internally
Perform industry and financial research analysis as needed
Collaborates in the creation of bi-monthly and quarterly executive updates that summarizes the latest status of the corporate-wide destination development overarching strategy
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's Degree in business, data management, analytics, or other related fields
Experience developing dashboards, reporting solutions, and data visualizations using tools such as Power BI and Microsoft Suite including Excel
Proven analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate data into actionable insights, scenario analyses, and business recommendations
Business acumen and the ability to connect analytical outputs to operational, financial, and strategic decision-making
High attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy, quality, and consistency
Demonstrated ability to develop and deliver high quality, clear and concise presentations
Demonstrated initiative, curiosity, and continuous-improvement mindset, with a track record of identifying opportunities to enhance processes and analytical capabilities
Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate effectively across functions
Strong organizational and prioritization skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects, deadlines, and stakeholder needs in a fast-paced environment
Preferred
1 to 2 years of business analytics experience preferred
