Levi Strauss & Co. is seeking a Marketplace Insights Analyst to join its Global Marketplace Insights team. The role translates consumer, cultural, brand, and marketplace data into actionable recommendations, supports research and campaign effectiveness initiatives, manages consumer engagement programs, and develops reporting and presentations to inform marketing and brand decisions.

Responsibilities

  • Support and, with appropriate guidance, own defined qualitative and quantitative research workstreams, from business-question framing and research design through analysis, synthesis and activation
  • Analyze consumer, cultural, brand, and marketplace trends to identify business opportunities and risks
  • Translate data into clear, applicable recommendations for partners
  • Use AI-enabled research and productivity tools to accelerate insight generation, synthesis, reporting, and knowledge management while maintaining appropriate human review and quality control
  • Summarize findings from proprietary research, syndicated data, social listening, secondary research, and internal data
  • Support campaign concept testing, message and tagline testing, creative evaluation, and post-campaign learning
  • Partner with Global Marketing teams to understand consumer response to brand plans and activations
  • Help develop learning agendas for seasonal campaigns, brand projects, and priorities
  • Manage Consumer Council operations, including participant engagement, session planning, recruiting coordination, facilitation, and reporting
  • Surface ongoing consumer feedback and new opportunities for partners
  • Convert direct consumer input into concise, grounded, and applicable recommendations
  • Analyze social conversation, cultural trends, competitive activity, and latest issues to identify opportunities, risks, and possible effects for Levi's brand, marketing, and business strategy
  • Develop recurring reports and executive-ready summaries of brand performance, cultural signals, and competitive activity
  • Help integrate social and cultural insights into brand planning and campaign development
  • Develop recurring dashboards, trackers, templates, and reporting deliverables
  • Prepare compelling presentations for senior leaders, Global Marketing, and partners
  • Support adoption and understanding of Marketplace Insights tools, resources, and best practices across the organization
  • Manage defined data requests and respond to ad hoc business questions with managerial guidance
  • Coordinate research timelines, inputs, and deliverables to ensure insights arrive in time to shape decisions
  • Support external agency and vendor relationships, including project setup, fieldwork coordination, quality control, and synthesis
  • Identify practical process improvements that increase the efficiency, consistency, and influence of the team's work

Qualification

Required

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Psychology, Business, Economics, Sociology, Statistics, Analytics, or a related field
  • 0–4 years of experience in consumer insights, market analytics, consulting, brand strategy, or a related discipline
  • Working knowledge of quantitative and qualitative research methods and an interest in consumer behavior
  • Proficiency with AI-enabled research, and productivity tools and apply appropriate validation and quality-control practices to ensure insight accuracy
  • Make complex findings understandable
  • Proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel
  • Experience with social listening, survey research, consumer panels, syndicated data, brand health, campaign testing, or segmentation
  • Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States at the time of hire and must not require current or future employment visa sponsorship.
