Responsibilities

  • Support development of high-quality visual presentations, ad hoc analyses, dashboards, tools, and reports for teams both within and outside of Air Ops
  • Contribute to the automation, creation, and continuous improvement of operational reports, processes, models, and analyses
  • Communicate updates and actionable outcomes with easy-to-interpret visualizations and practical recommendations to both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Collaborate with cross-functional analytics and business groups to integrate data-driven insights into business operations, enhance decision-making, and increase operational efficiency
  • Translate business requirements and generate actionable insights into drivers of operational performance through root cause analysis, business knowledge, modeling, and statistical techniques
  • Focus is on optimizing key areas such as reliability, planning, and execution

Qualification

Required

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Statistics, Engineering, or other Quantitative/Analytical discipline
  • +1 year(s) of work experience which may include completion of at least one internship in an airline-related field or work experience in an analytical role
  • Experience in Microsoft Office products, particularly Excel and Powerpoint
  • Experience in methods of querying and manipulating data (i.e. SQL, Python, Foundry, etc.)
  • Data visualization skills using one or more reporting tools (i.e. Spotfire, Tableau, PowerBI, ThinkCell, Excel, etc.)
  • Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to work cross-functionally
  • Must be willing and able to travel 5-10% domestic at our Hubs and Line Stations
  • Must be willing and able to work a hybrid work schedule 3 days in-office at the CSC-Wills Tower in Chicago, IL
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship
  • Successful completion of interview required to meet job qualification
  • Reliable, punctual attendance is an essential function of the position
