Responsibilities

  • Develops computer systems specifications that address business requirements that fit with the company's system architecture standards.
  • Establishes and documents system parameters and formats, ensures hardware and software systems compatibility and coordinates and/or modifies system parameters in terms of existing and projected computer capacity and capabilities.
  • Revises existing systems and procedures to correct deficiencies and maintain more effective data handling, conversion, input/output requirements, and storage.

Qualification

Required

  • Bachelor’s degree and 0 years of experience, or master’s degree; a High School diploma or equivalent and 4 years of experience may be considered in lieu of a completed degree.
  • Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government DoD Top Secret security clearance within a reasonable time, as determined by the company to meet its business need.
  • The ability to be granted special program access (SAP/SAR) within 1 year of hire date.
  • The ability to maintain both your security clearance and program access is required for this position.
  • Current Security + CE (or other DoD 8570 certification), or the ability to obtain certification within 6 months of hire date.
  • Ability to lift equipment weighing up to 40 pounds.
  • Ability to work after hours and weekends as needed.

Preferred

  • Microsoft SA, or SE level certifications.
  • Microsoft Active Directory administration experience.
  • Microsoft MECM, SCCM, SMS.
  • Microsoft Exchange architecture & administration experience.
  • Microsoft SharePoint architecture & administration experience.
  • Microsoft Powershell scripting experience.
  • Experience with PXE boot process and network imaging process.
  • Experience managing systems under NISPOM Chapter 8, DCID 6/3-ICD 503, RMF, STIG, JAFAN, or JSIG system environments.
  • Experience installing, configuring, and maintaining computer hardware in a networked environment.
  • Understand basic networking, including subnets, routing and VLANs; Cisco experience and/or certification.
  • Experience installing, configuring, maintaining and using various virtual hosting environments including VMWare, Nutanix, KVM, and HyperV.
  • Experience with cloud hosting environments including AWS and Azure.
  • Experience with the Linux Operating System.
  • Knowledge of environmental monitoring tools (HBSS/Solar Winds/Splunk).
  • Active Top Secret or TS/SCI security clearance.
