The Campbell's Company is a well-established brand known for its iconic food products. They are seeking a Business Analyst for Enterprise Data Solutions to bridge business and IT, ensuring data governance and usability for decision making.
Gather and document business requirements through structured workshops, interviews, and analysis.
Translate business needs into clear functional and technical requirements for delivery teams.
Perform data profiling and baseline assessments to measure completeness, accuracy, timeliness, validity, and uniqueness.
Identify anomalies, differentiate between defects and legitimate business exceptions, and document business impacts.
Author and maintain business-driven data quality rules (thresholds, tolerances, and definitions) in partnership with business stewards.
Facilitate business sign-off for rules, definitions, KPIs, and glossary terms to ensure alignment and ownership.
Partner with Data Engineers to hand off approved rules for technical implementation
Support UAT by developing test cases, coordinating with users, and validating results.
Guide stakeholders through change management to ensure adoption and trust in new data solutions.
Enrich data assets with business context (definitions, lineage, KPIs) in the enterprise data catalog.
Qualification
Required
Minimum education required: B.S. or B.A. in business, computer science, engineering, statistics, economics, or a related field.
2+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, Data Governance Analyst, or similar role.
Strong skills in requirements gathering, stakeholder facilitation, and business process analysis.
Proficiency in SQL and data analysis; advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
Knowledge of data quality dimensions and data governance practices.
Experience with data catalog/metadata tools (e.g., Data.World, Collibra, Alation, etc.).
Strong written and verbal communication skills, able to translate complex data concepts into business language.
Ability to collaborate across functions and levels, influencing both business and IT stakeholders.
Preferred
Familiarity with BI tools such as Power BI for validation and analysis.
Familiarity with agile processes.
Familiarity with Power BI and Dashboard Development.
