Volvo Group is committed to shaping the future of sustainable transport solutions. They are seeking a Co-Op in Business Intelligence to work with large datasets, design data solutions, and support data-driven business insights to enhance decision-making processes.
Understand the business challenges and identify data-driven business insights with effective presentation of findings at multiple levels of stakeholders
Work closely with analysts, data engineers, business intelligence engineers and software development engineers to produce complete data solutions
Translate business problems into metrics problems into data problems - and build insights accordingly
Own the design, development, and maintenance of ongoing metrics, reports, analyses, and dashboards to help determine key business conclusions
Understand the business challenges and identify data-driven business insights with effective presentation of findings at multiple levels of stakeholders
Design, implement, and support key datasets that provide structured and timely access to actionable business information addressing stakeholder needs
Support and drive short-term and long-term for achieving business targets in the digital roadmap
Monitoring existent metrics, building new metrics, and partnering with internal teams to identify process and system improvement opportunities
Qualification
Required
Applicants must be currently enrolled in academic courses and pursuing a degree in Industrial Engineering/Supply Chain/Data Analysis or related field and have completed 30 credit hours prior to the start of the co-op
Must be enrolled in a degree seeking program with the intent to return to school at the completion of the co-op
Must be in good academic standing with a cumulative grade point average of at least 2.75/4.0
Expert level experience with Power BI is a must
Strong storytelling experience is a must
Strong experience with Power Tools (Power Automate, Power Apps etc.)
Experience defining requirements and using data and metrics to draw business insights
