Responsibilities

  • Support data preparation efforts for AI/ML models by sourcing, cleaning, and profiling structured and unstructured data.
  • Develop features for machine learning models and anomaly detection algorithms to support data-driven decision-making.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to document data requirements, business rules, and data definitions.
  • Perform exploratory data analysis (EDA) to identify patterns, gaps, and anomalies in sales-related data.
  • Validate and test model outputs against expected results or historical data.
  • Design & develop appropriate mechanisms for tracking & performance management (e.g., Power BI dashboards, reports)
  • Document queries, data dictionaries, and analysis results in Confluence or internal tools.
  • Participate in sprint planning and agile ceremonies as a contributor to the data workstream.
  • Analyze complex datasets using AI techniques to uncover insights that inform sales strategies and business decisions.
  • Create automated reporting systems and real-time analytics dashboards.
  • Build technical knowledge and business acumen within data analytics and AI.

Qualification

Required

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or related field
  • 2-5 years of experience in data analysis and machine learning
  • Proficiency in one or more programming languages for data analysis (Python, R, Java, Julia, etc.)
  • Experience with AI frameworks like TensorFlow, Scikit-learn, or PyTorch
  • Exposure to cloud platforms (Azure, Databricks, AWS, or GCP)
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with keen attention to detail and ability to follow technical instructions
  • Familiarity with basic statistics and data validation techniques
  • Communications skills - Able to effectively communicate technical information in non-technical terminology (written and verbal)
  • Experience in data preparation, cleaning, and visualization

Preferred

  • Familiarity with data exploration / data visualization tools like Power BI, Tableau, etc. and workstation applications
  • Understanding of basic machine learning workflows (feature engineering, model evaluation)
  • Experience with Salesforce CRM application
  • Understanding of sales transformation projects within the energy sector
