Howmet Aerospace is a global leader in engineered metal products, and they are seeking a Data Analyst to join their team. The role involves leveraging data analytic tools to build dashboards and perform exploratory data analysis to enhance production processes at their aerospace manufacturing facilities.
Design, program, and maintain Power BI dashboards for production use in engineering, manufacturing, finance, and machine learning monitoring
Utilize DAX to create custom and dynamic measures
Create clear and flexible visualizations
Clean and prepare data using SQL and M-Code
Work with internal customers to continuously improve dashboard quality and effectiveness
Own the Power BI workspaces for the Howmet Research Center
Assist in vetting and publishing reports
Maintain workspace quality and security, and assist in improving report refresh rates
Collaborate with corporate and local Power BI resources to drive best practices
Design and build applications in Power Automate and Power Apps for production use
Perform exploratory data analysis
Analyze diverse data streams and factors to deliver actionable insights
Assist in developing data quality monitoring systems
Apply statistical testing to identify trends in data
Qualification
Required
Bachelor’s Degree in a STEM field from an accredited institution is required
Minimum of 2 years of experience using Power BI that demonstrated applications of value-add
Minimum of 1 year of experience with Python for data analysis, especially pandas and common visualization packages like Matplotlib, Seaborn, and Plotly
Ability to work in a self-directed and cross-functional team environment.

Prior experience in a manufacturing environment
