Parsons is an engineering, construction, technical and management services firm, seeking a Data Analyst to support their US INDOPACOM customer. The role involves collaborating with stakeholders to analyze data, develop use cases, and educate users on data interpretation.
Collaborate closely with stakeholders to understand requirements and meet objectives; perform data collection, analysis, and interpretation to support strategic initiatives.
Analyze structured and unstructured data, assess value, and provide expertise in the development of use cases for consumption by command staff
Can explain complex, technically difficult information in an easily understood manner to technical and non-technical audiences.
Educate and mentor on how to effectively use and interpret data, ensuring users can independently derive insights and make informed decisions.
Foundational proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, or SQL.
Familiarity of machine learning frameworks and libraries (e.g., TensorFlow, scikit-learn, PyTorch)
Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., matplotlib) and big data technologies (e.g., Pandas, Spark)
Capable of intuitively solving complex problems, working independently, with minimal guidance.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.

2+ years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; will consider experience in lieu of degree
2+ years’ experience working in a multi-skilled team environment collaborating on data automation
Experience working with structured and unstructured data with the ability to automate data processing and analysis tasks.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Able to convey complex, technical issues in an easy-to-understand manner
Strong organizational and planning skills for tracking requests and project fulfillment
Active DoD Top Secret-level security clearance with SCI eligibility
