The North West Company is a growing company with a long history of serving rural Alaskans, and they are seeking a Data Analyst to assist the Director, Merchandising Services. The role involves managing data through running reports, executing audits, and supporting various merchandising tasks.

Responsibilities

Run pre-designed reports and audits on a scheduled basis
Reports and audits are scheduled Daily, Weekly, Monthly, and Quarterly, assisted by the Outlook calendar
Communicate any identified issues uncovered on reports or audits to appropriate teams
Run audits and complete proofs to ensure data integrity of promotional batches
Ensure promotional batches are active prior to event date
Ensure that item information submitted by Category Management staff is accurate
Upon ensuring new item setup is correct, approve new items
Assist merchandising team with assorted administrative tasks and special projects as assigned by Director, Merchandising Services
Research and prepare reports on assorted topics as assigned

Qualification

Required

Proficient MS Office Suite experience, including above average knowledge of Excel and Access
Strong analytical skills
Strong organizational and prioritization skills
Strong math skills
Strong communication skills, both oral and written
Undergraduate/College degree in business, accounting, or a related field or one year of experience in Analytical Analyses
Ability to problem solve and know when to escalate
Impeccable attention to detail
