PPG is a leading company that develops and delivers paints, coatings, and specialty materials. As a Data Management Analyst, you will create and maintain master data to ensure data integrity and act as a liaison with data owners and functional partners.
Utilize Excel to meet business reporting requirements.
Actively participate in data related projects and support business initiatives.
Identify, escalate, and resolve data and system related issues as needed.
Research and recommend improvements and updates to procedures and documentation.
Complete requested master data object creations and updates in ERP (QAD) and other supporting systems, aligning with defined policies, procedures, and workflows; ensuring a high degree of data integrity and accuracy.
Determine priority of and execute tasks in a dynamic environment and adjust priorities based on evolving situations to meet timelines.
Directly partner with internal customers and functional partners for follow-up, clarification, verification, and troubleshooting.
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's Degree in computer science, information technology, or similar.
0-3 years of experience working in data management and/or analytics. ERP experience is a plus such as SAP or Oracle.
Strong experience with data integrity to ensure accuracy of detail and data.
Functional knowledge with Master Data Management (MDM) tools such as QAD, Laserfiche, Informatica MDM, or similar.
Advanced MS Excel including skills such as vlookup, Power Query, concatenate, filter functions, and related automation applications.
Due to the nature of the work, US citizenship is required.
Must be located in or near Sylmar, CA, Valencia, CA, or Woodinville, WA.
