Scholastic is a leading global children's publishing, education, and media company. They are seeking a Data Products Analyst to troubleshoot and develop reporting, manage database connections, and prepare management and executive level reports while ensuring data integrity and accuracy.
Troubleshoot and develop reporting and manage database connections/information from multiple data sources.
Work with 3rd party vendors/application and maintain (certain areas) of 3rd party applications for reporting purposes.
Design, produce and audit daily and historical operational reporting.
Develops Standard Operating Procedures (SOPS). Audits data sources and ensures data integrity and accuracy.
Prepares management and executive level reports including commentary and analysis. This will include financial, performance, customer behavior and quality reports.
Work with internal/external customers to define and document detailed user requirements, assist with quality assure of finished product prior to user acceptance testing, assist with user acceptance testing/training and obtain user signoff for system enhancements.
Train team members on system enhancements and new technology.
Escalate and communicate system issues to the appropriate personnel.
Troubleshoot and test business systems.
Provide accurate and timely reports on all projects.

Qualification
Required
Preferred a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Management or related field.
Prior experience working with SQL.
Excellent problem solving skills
Must be a self-starter and capable of excelling with minimal direct supervision.
Must have ability to handle confidential information
Ability to prioritize in a timely fashion.
Must be organized, and able to multi task.
Ability to produce under strict timelines.
Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.
