Grocery Outlet is the largest “extreme-value” grocer in the U.S. The Data Quality & Process Analyst will support the quality and integrity of product data through monitoring, maintenance, and improvement of data governance and processes related to product and data procurement.
Build a cross-functional understanding of the business, specifically as it relates to end-to-end product lifecycle.
Review item datasets (e.g., purchase orders, on-hand inventory, UPCs) to ensure a high level of accuracy and completeness, identifying and resolving any gaps to maintain strong data integrity.
Create and publish reports and dashboards on data quality to measure and track how well data is meeting approved standards.
Train others in the business (buyers, assistants, etc.) on how to comply with new data quality standards in their roles.
Create documentation linking data, process, and impact.
Work with other business teams to ensure our data quality management processes are working correctly in all relevant business units.
Analyze data quality issues to understand cause and impact and create strategies to resolve.
Make updates to master data in SAP as needed to support data maintenance and ongoing initiatives.
Qualification
Required
Bachelor’s Degree in related field (Information Systems, Business Analytics, Data Science, Supply Chain, etc.) or at least two years of relevant experience
