Responsibilities

  • Data preparation
  • Ingest, clean, and transform data from multiple sources
  • Feature engineering and data quality checks
  • Build simple ETL/ELT pipelines
  • Develop and evaluate machine learning and AI models (baseline and advanced)
  • Feature selection, model validation, and performance monitoring
  • Design and run experiments (A/B tests, uplift analyses)
  • Aid in packaging and basic deployment
  • Version control, reproducibility, and basic model monitoring
  • Produce machine-readable outputs and dashboards
  • Understand Agentic AI concepts (agency, autonomous agents, goals, alignment, safety)
  • Consider implications of agentic components in DS projects

Qualification

Required

  • Bachelor's degree in Data Science, CS, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, or other from an accredited university
  • Experience: 0–3 years (internships, capstones, projects count)
  • Programming and data manipulation: Python (pandas, numpy, scikit-learn; pipelines), SQL, Data wrangling and cleaning
  • Statistics and machine learning fundamentals: Descriptive stats, probability, hypothesis testing, Supervised and unsupervised learning; evaluation metrics
  • ML tools and libraries: scikit-learn (pipelines, cross-validation, hyperparameters), Optional: TensorFlow/Keras or PyTorch
  • Data visualization and reporting: Basic visuals with matplotlib/seaborn, Dashboards/BI tools a plus (Tableau, Power BI)

Preferred

  • End-to-end DS projects (data collection to insights and dashboards)
  • Experience in product/business contexts
  • Spark for large-scale data wrangling
  • ML deployment basics (Docker, MLflow)
  • Data engineering and tooling: ETL/ELT concepts; data pipelines, Basic cloud familiarity (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and data services
