Pfizer is seeking an Associate Database Analyst to support clinical data collection strategies across its portfolio. The role focuses on programming, designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality clinical databases while ensuring clinical data integrity and consistency in asset and submission data.
Work closely with department roles and cross-functional study team members to create data capture solutions that support the quality and timely delivery of data required per standard and study specific data review plans
Complies with applicable SOPs and work practices
Learns Pfizer database technologies
Develops knowledge of data capture tools and methods that support the accuracy and integrity of study data
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in a Life Science discipline, Computer Science or other relevant discipline
Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience in a pharmaceutical, biotech, CRO, or Regulatory Agency with an emphasis on building data collection and assimilation solutions
Experience in Oracle, PL/SQL, SAS, Java, relational database design
Database programming skills
Strong communication skills—written, verbal and presentation
Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office Suite of tools (e.g., Outlook, Word, Excel)
Work Location:** Must work on-site an average of 2.5 days per week and live within commuting distance to the site
Candidates must be authorized to be employed in the U.S. by any employer
U.S. work visa sponsorship (such as TN, O-1, H-1B, etc.) is not available for this role now or in the future
This position requires permanent work authorization in the United States
Preferred
Experience using relational databases (e.g., Oracle InForm, Oracle DMW, MS SQL Server or MS Access)
Understanding of drug development process and data operations required for the reporting of clinical trial data (e.g. data review, study reports, regulatory submissions, safety updates)
Understanding of regulatory requirements and relevant data standards
