EMPLOYERS is a provider of workers' compensation insurance for small businesses, seeking an Enterprise Data Analyst to assist in managing and leveraging data assets. The role involves designing data governance procedures, collaborating with project teams, and ensuring effective communication and training across the organization.
Work closely with the Enterprise Data Program Manager to design, establish, and monitor data governance / data management procedures
Collaborate with project teams to ensure the proper definition, documentation, and use of data for all projects / initiatives
Drive employee engagement through effective communication and training across all divisions / teams
Perform administrative functions for data governance / data management tools that manage and monitor data quality
Qualification
Required
2+ year of experience in data governance, administration, or usage (such as in a BI/Analytics team)
Understanding of data governance and management tools/processes and the associated need across functions
Understanding of information management practices including data lifecycle management, data profiling, master data management, and carrying out business audits/requirements gathering
Working knowledge of data quality improvement programs, data mapping/migration, data profiling, and data management approaches
Familiarity with GDPR, CCPA, and other similar consumer data regulations
Excellent interpersonal and communications skills
Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
Highest level of integrity in dealing with confidential and sensitive information
Flexible and able to adapt to changing priorities
Preferred
Knowledge of Insurance industry, with preference for workers’ compensation
Data visualization experience and skills
