Leidos delivers innovative defense and mission solutions through multidisciplinary teams focused on customer success. The EO/IR Perception System Analyst develops Python-based analysis tools, evaluates electro-optical/infrared sensor and perception algorithm performance, supports test events, and analyzes real-world and synthetic sensor data.
Work within a team of engineers and scientists to develop Python-based analysis scripts that facilitate the qualitative and quantitative analysis of EO/IR sensor systems and generate clear, well-structured data products
Analyze data to identify trends, patterns, and insights that support program objectives and develop clear visualizations that communicate key findings
Assist with data collections and test events including pre-test planning, on-site test support, and post-test data cleaning, validation, and organization
Implement industry-standard and custom metrics to evaluate EO/IR system and algorithm performance
Document analysis methodologies, processes, and findings
Support the development and validation of synthetic EO/IR data generation capabilities by defining analysis needs and comparing synthetic outputs to real-world sensor data
