The GIS Analyst position is responsible for inputting and analyzing pipeline data, creating and designing web maps and applications using ArcGIS, and automating geoprocessing tasks.

Responsibilities

Coordinate the accrual and input of pipeline data from various sources into a central database
Create and maintain all High Consequence Areas (HCAs)
Ability to automate geoprocessing tasks
Process large amount of information to solve issues
Provide technical support to other departments for all ArcGIS Portal/Online applications
Create Portal/ArcGIS Online maps and applications, and use Arcade to customize content
Work with I/S to integrate GIS data with other company databases

Qualification

Required

Bachelor's degree in Geography, GIS
0-2 years of relevant experience for Associate Analyst/Specialist level
2-5 years of relevant experience for Analyst/Specialist level
5-8 years of relevant experience for Sr Analyst/Specialist level
8+ years of relevant experience for Lead Analyst/Specialist level
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with strong interpersonal skills
Excellent PC skills, with proficiency in Microsoft products required
Strong attention to detail, with the ability to proof work for accuracy
Experience working independently with limited supervision
Hands on experience with ESRI's ArcGIS Pro, Portal/ArcGIS Online, Field Maps, Survey123, Quick Capture, Dashboards, Insights, Experience Builder
Experience with ArcGIS Arcade, Python/ArcPy, and ESRI's Model Builder
Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks and projects concurrently, managing time and scheduling to meet appropriate deadlines
Ability to take directions from supervisors and work in a team environment
Knowledge of GIS data types, GPS collection, relational and spatial databases, spatial analysis, data analysis, and mapmaking
Ability to coordinate effectively with other personnel, corporate departments, as well as with external contractors
