HR Data Analyst

They are seeking an HR Data Analyst to join their HR Systems and Reporting team, responsible for advancing data and reporting capabilities and turning complex HR data into actionable insights.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with developers, functional leads, and stakeholders to design data schemas, define data feed requirements, and contribute to enterprise data architecture
  • Build and maintain dynamic Workday reports to support Operations and HR teams
  • Support HR initiatives through financial modelling, KPI development, and performance tracking
  • Assist the Payroll team with Federal and Provincial reporting programs for health care workers
  • Act as a liaison between HR functional user groups and technical teams — gathering, analyzing, and documenting business requirements and translating them into effective solutions
  • Leverage AI tools to automate reporting workflows, accelerate data analysis, and surface insights at scale
  • Ensure requirements are clearly defined, documented, communicated, and validated across all assigned projects
  • Complete other duties as assigned

Qualification

Required

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
  • 1–3 years of experience in data analysis or reporting, preferably in a fast-paced or growth-oriented environment
  • Proficiency in SQL Server (complex query writing) and Microsoft Excel
  • Demonstrated experience or strong interest in working with AI tools (e.g., Microsoft Copilot, generative AI for data analysis, prompt-based reporting)

Preferred

  • Experience with Workday and BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, or similar) is a strong asset
