They are seeking an Information Technology Analyst to plan, develop, analyze, and monitor the financial and operational performance of the IT department, ensuring efficient resource allocation and supporting data-driven decision-making.
Conduct in-depth analyses of IT resource allocation and system utilization to optimize efficiency and reduce operational expenses.
Track and report on IT budget variances, identifying potential risks and opportunities related to software licensing, hardware procurement, and service contracts.
Assist in the development, preparation, and monitoring of the agency’s IT budget, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and technology strategy.
Provide data-driven insights and analysis for internal and external stakeholders to support decision-making on IT investments.
Review IT budgetary and operational adjustments throughout the year, assessing the fiscal and service impact of technology upgrades, security enhancements, and infrastructure changes.
Support the development of multi-year IT plans and projections to ensure sustainability and scalability of technology initiatives.
Recommend process improvements and assist in the implementation of new IT policies, asset management tools, or workflows to enhance operational efficiency.
Assess and optimize IT service delivery methods, system performance, and helpdesk support procedures for maximum efficiency and effectiveness.
Collaborate with the Executive Leadership Team (ELT) and the Key Performance Indicator (KPI) Team to data-driven decision-making across the organization.
Stay informed about emerging technologies, cybersecurity trends, and best practices in Information Technology through professional development activities.
Assisting users with technical issues as needed.

Qualification
Required
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Management Information Systems (MIS), Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field is required.
Two years of professional experience in data analysis, IT budgeting, financial planning, or a related field is required.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to validate data and identify discrepancies and provide actionable insights.
Experience in data analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and cost benefit analysis.
Ability to communicate complex data insights clearly to non-technical stakeholders and excellent written and oral communication skills.
Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to recommend and implement process improvements.
Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Excellent written and oral communication skills, interpersonal skills, tact and diplomacy.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook) and navigating in web-based environments.
